Train tickets for Taranga
Taranga's Ajitnath temple was built by King Kumarapala under Acharya Hemachandra in the 12th century, with Digambar temples alongside, and its Kotishila and Siddhashila hillocks are revered as places of moksha. The old Taranga Hill station no longer has trains; the practical railhead is Vadnagar, about 20 km away, which now has a daily First AC train from Mumbai. We book the trains for families and sanghs.

Booking a Taranga yatra
- The Lokshakti Express only reached Vadnagar in August 2026 — older guides still say Mehsana or Ahmedabad.
- Taranga pairs well with Shankheshwar and Palitana. We book every leg so the sangh moves together.
- From Delhi, a train to Mehsana or Ahmedabad and then road is usually simplest; we choose the one with a real chance of confirming on your date.
How we book a sangh
The same care on every booking — whether it is a family of six or a sangh of two hundred.
Many PNRs, booked together
Every booking holds up to six yatris — four on Tatkal — so a sangh is several bookings made together, with families kept side by side wherever the train allows.
Elders in the right berth
First AC and 2A for elders who need comfort and lower berths, 3A and Sleeper where that suits the group. We ask about every yatri's needs before booking.
One list on WhatsApp
Every PNR reaches the organiser on WhatsApp, with a list of who is in which coach and berth — ready to share with the sangh.
Each yatri counts
Only a confirmed berth counts, passenger by passenger. Anyone in the sangh left without one gets a 100% refund, even if the others travel.
Onward and return together
Long yatras link several tirths. We book every leg — out, between tirths and home — so the whole journey is planned before anyone sets off.
Invoices for trusts
When a trust, samaj or company books, we issue a GST invoice.
Only a confirmed berth counts. RAC doesn't.
App guarantees treat RAC as a success: you share a berth overnight and they pay nothing. We don't. If we can't deliver a confirmed (CNF) berth, you get a 100% refund, no questions asked — usually the same day, and always within 48 hours of asking — or the alternative that suits you better.
