Confirmed & Tatkal train tickets for Kolkata travellers

Kolkata has two big long-distance terminals on opposite banks of the Hooghly, and both run Rajdhanis to Delhi. Our desk is at the Delhi end of these trains, and we book for Kolkata travellers on WhatsApp — including the Durga Puja and Chhath weeks, when the whole corridor fills at once.

Howrah or Sealdah — and why it matters

The two terminals sit on opposite sides of the river, and on a weekday evening the drive between them can take an hour.

Howrah (HWH)

The west bank. The Howrah Rajdhanis and the Howrah Duronto run from here. The natural choice for Howrah, Hooghly and the western suburbs.

Sealdah (SDAH)

Inside the city on the east side. The Sealdah Rajdhani and the Sealdah Duronto run from here. Closer for central, north and east Kolkata and Salt Lake.

Santragachi (SRC) & Shalimar (SHM)

Secondary terminals on the Howrah side used by some long-distance trains. Check your ticket — they are not interchangeable with Howrah.

Kolkata (KOAA)

The Chitpur terminal in north Kolkata, used by a handful of long-distance trains, and easy to confuse with Howrah or Sealdah on a ticket.

The Delhi end

The Rajdhanis and Durontos from Kolkata run to New Delhi. Some other trains from the east use Anand Vihar, so check the Delhi terminal on your ticket if you are being met.

How it works

Confirmation Quota: how we get you confirmed

On busy routes, demand for seats can run many times ahead of supply. Our Confirmation Quota analysis is how we close that gap — not a refresh button, a real service worked by real agents.

1

Share your journey

Send your route, class and preferred train — plus a few alternative dates (ideally one day before travel). The more options, the better.

2

We run Confirmation Quota

Our in-house analysis finds the train, date and quota combination with the highest chance of a confirmed berth — and we send you the best options.

3

You approve & pay

You pick an option and pay only then. We book it — running Tatkal on the day and our alternative confirmation route as backup.

4

We confirm & alert you

We track your booking and update you on WhatsApp. A waitlisted ticket confirms at chart preparation — or you get a 100% refund.

Confirmed ticket — or 100% refund

You pay only after you approve our plan. If we can't get you a confirmed ticket, you get your money back in full. The proof is in our 670+ real Google reviews — travellers describing waitlists that turned into confirmed berths.

Kolkata ↔ Delhi

Premium trains between Kolkata and Delhi

Howrah and Sealdah trains have separate seats, so a full train at one terminal says nothing about the other.

Howrah Rajdhani (via Gaya)

Six days a week

Howrah ↔ New Delhi

The classic eastern Rajdhani, and a long run where a general waiting list is worth holding.

Booking advice for the Howrah Rajdhani (via Gaya)

Howrah Rajdhani (via Patna)

Fewer days a week

Howrah ↔ New Delhi

Takes the route through Patna — useful for Bihar stops. We check its running day for your date.

Sealdah Rajdhani

Daily

Sealdah ↔ New Delhi

A separate set of seats — worth checking whenever the Howrah Rajdhani is full.

Howrah & Sealdah Durontos

A few days a week

Howrah or Sealdah ↔ New Delhi

Fewer stops, and most passengers board at the start.

What our customers say

Helpful agents, explained my PNR honestly instead of overpromising. Will use again.

Kolkata questions

Asked by travellers from Kolkata & Howrah

Do you have an office in Kolkata?+

No — our counter is in Karol Bagh, New Delhi. Kolkata travellers book with us on WhatsApp and phone, and the e-ticket arrives on WhatsApp. Nothing needs a visit.

Howrah or Sealdah — which Rajdhani should I book?+

Whichever terminal is closer to where you start, when both have space. They are separate trains with separate seats, so when one is waitlisted the other is often open — we check both before recommending.

How early should I book for Durga Puja?+

The morning your date opens — 60 days before travel, at 8:00 AM. Puja week tightens the whole corridor at once, in both directions, so book the return at the same time.

Can you book Tatkal for a train from Kolkata?+

Yes. Tatkal opens one day before the journey, at 10:00 AM for AC classes and 11:00 AM for non-AC, whichever city the train starts in. Our desk books it and sends you the result on WhatsApp.

Tell us your journey — we'll do the rest

Send your route, dates and passengers on WhatsApp. We'll come back with the boarding point, the trains with a real chance of confirming, and what it costs — before you pay anything.
