The rail desk for Faridabad's industry

Faridabad is one of the NCR's oldest industrial towns — engineering, tractors, auto components and electrical goods — with a workforce from UP and Bihar. It also sits on the main line south, so some trains can be boarded right here instead of in Delhi. We book both kinds, from our licensed desk in Karol Bagh.

Boarding points

On the main line south — and a long way from Anand Vihar

Faridabad has its own stations on the Delhi–Mathura line. Whether they help depends on which direction your people are going.

Faridabad (FDB) & Faridabad New Town (FDN)

On the main line towards Mathura, Agra and beyond. A good number of trains south and west call here, which saves the run into Delhi completely.

Ballabgarh (BVH)

Further south on the same line, and closer for the southern sectors and IMT Faridabad. Fewer trains stop, so we check both.

Hazrat Nizamuddin (NZM)

The nearest Delhi terminal — straight up Mathura Road. For Mumbai, Goa and the south when your train doesn't stop at Faridabad.

New Delhi (NDLS)

Violet Line to Central Secretariat, then the Yellow Line. For Rajdhanis east and most northern trains.

Anand Vihar (ANVT)

Where many trains to Bihar and eastern UP start — the far side of the city from Faridabad. The booking most likely to cause a missed train, so we plan the journey in.

For employers here

No travel desk? That's most of Faridabad

Most units here are too small for a travel department. The owner, the accountant or a supervisor books trains in between everything else — and at Diwali and Chhath that turns into days of trying.

We become that travel desk: one WhatsApp number for your staff's bookings, a monthly statement instead of a pile of receipts, and GST invoices your accountant can use.

Worth setting up before the festival season — the booking windows open 60 days ahead.

The employers we book for here

Engineering & heavy equipment

Tractor, earth-moving and machinery plants with long-serving workforces and regular technical travel to dealers and sites.

Auto components & forgings

Suppliers to the vehicle plants across the NCR: supervisors on short-notice trips, and shop floors going home in the festival weeks.

Electrical & consumer goods

Makers of electrical equipment, appliances and components, with sales teams covering the north.

Small and mid-size units

Hundreds of units across the NIT and sector industrial areas with no travel desk of their own — the owner or the accountant books everything.

Corridors

Where Faridabad's people travel

  • Faridabad – Mathura, Agra & Gwalior, boarding locally
  • Faridabad – Jhansi, Bhopal & the routes to Mumbai and the south
  • Delhi – Patna, Muzaffarpur & the Bihar routes (the festival peak)
  • Delhi – Lucknow, Gorakhpur & Varanasi
  • Delhi – Kolkata & Howrah
  • Delhi – Jaipur & Chandigarh for dealer visits
Authorisation

Not every 'authorised agent' is the same

IRCTC registration is widely held and easy to obtain. A licence from Indian Railways is neither.

Common

IRCTC Authorised Agent

Registration with IRCTC for e-ticketing. Low barrier to obtain and widely held across the trade — which is why, on its own, it tells you nothing about a vendor's depth.

Scarce

YTSK (PPP) — licensed by Indian Railways

Not a registration with a subsidiary. A licence awarded by Indian Railways under the Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra public–private partnership, on terms carrying a substantial fee and deposit. Few ticketing operators hold one.

What our clients say

“I travel Delhi–Mumbai almost every week. When Tatkal sells out in seconds, these are the people I message. They have confirmed seats for me more times than I can count, on Rajdhani and Vande Bharat both.”
Arjun Mehta · Frequent business traveller
“We had 11 people travelling for a wedding and were stuck on a long waitlist. I sent one WhatsApp message with everyone's details and they coordinated the whole thing. Almost all confirmed.”

Group booking request

One journey, many passengers — offsites, conferences, weddings, educational and religious travel.

For groups of roughly 10 passengers and above. Tell us the journey and we'll come back with what can actually be confirmed together.

The journey

Passenger names and ID details are never needed at this stage — only once you approve a plan.

Questions

Asked by Faridabad & Ballabgarh teams

Do you have an office in Faridabad?+

No. Our licensed desk is in Karol Bagh, New Delhi, and everything runs over WhatsApp, phone and email. Rail booking doesn't need a local office — Indian Railways is one national reservation system. What matters is the licence and whether someone answers when you need a berth.

Can our staff board at Faridabad instead of going into Delhi?+

Often, for trains heading south and west — towards Mathura, Agra, Jhansi and beyond. Not every train stops, so we check Faridabad, Ballabgarh and the Delhi terminals for each booking. For Bihar and eastern UP, the trains start in Delhi.

We're a small unit. Is this worth it for us?+

Yes — most of the companies we'd work with here don't have a travel desk. You get one number for staff bookings, a monthly statement and GST invoices, without hiring anyone.

Do you invoice the company or the employee?+

Either. A monthly GST invoice with reconciliation for company-paid travel, or staff pay us directly and you carry no cost.
