The twin cities have several long-distance stations, and your ticket names one of them — not the city.
Secunderabad (SC)
The main long-distance terminal for the twin cities, and the start of both the Secunderabad Rajdhani and the Secunderabad Duronto to Hazrat Nizamuddin.
Hyderabad Deccan / Nampally (HYB)
The older city terminal. Some long-distance trains start here, so check your ticket — it is a different station from Secunderabad.
Kacheguda (KCG) & Lingampally (LPI)
Other stations used by some long-distance trains; Lingampally suits the HITEC City side when your train stops there.
The Delhi end
Both premium trains from Secunderabad run to Hazrat Nizamuddin, the easier main Delhi terminal for South Delhi, Gurugram and Faridabad.

Booking from Hyderabad with a Delhi desk: how it works

Group bookings from Hyderabad
Group travel from the twin cities is pilgrimage first: Tirupati above all, then Shirdi, Hazur Sahib Nanded and Sabarimala in season. Then come weddings, IT teams, and families travelling together for Sankranti, Dasara and Diwali.
Tirupati groups
The Vande Bharat runs from Secunderabad to Tirupati six days a week, and the Narayanadri, Venkatadri and Padmavati Expresses run overnight from Hyderabad with First AC, daily between them. Tirupati trains start from four different terminals, so a big group has several sets of seats to try.
Sabarimala, Shirdi and Hazur Sahib
The Sabari Express runs daily from Secunderabad to Chengannur, the Sabarimala railhead, with First AC. Trains run to Shirdi from Secunderabad a few days a week, and the Ajanta Express runs daily from Kacheguda through Nanded.

Where a group from Hyderabad should board
The twin cities start long-distance trains from five terminals: Secunderabad, Nampally, Kacheguda, Lingampally and Charlapalli. Each train has its own seats, so the right terminal for a big group is the one whose train can hold everyone. Secunderabad is being rebuilt and trains move for weeks at a time, so we check the starting station on your date.
When groups from Hyderabad book
Sankranti on 15 January 2027 (trains around it open in mid-November), Dasara and Diwali, Tirumala's big days, and Sabarimala from 16 November 2026 to 20 January 2027.
How we book a group from Hyderabad

No — the Secunderabad Rajdhani and the Secunderabad Duronto both start at Secunderabad. Hyderabad Deccan (Nampally) is a different station, so check your ticket before you set off.

Other express trains run between the twin cities and Delhi in AC classes, and we check them alongside the Rajdhani and Duronto. We will tell you plainly which one has a real chance of confirming.
Can you book Tatkal for a train from Hyderabad?+
Yes. Tatkal opens one day before the journey — 10:00 AM for AC classes and 11:00 AM for Sleeper. Our desk books it and you get the result on WhatsApp.
Can you book a Tirupati group from Hyderabad?+
Yes. Daily First AC trains run overnight from Hyderabad, and the Vande Bharat runs from Secunderabad six days a week. We book the whole group on the morning booking opens, the return with it, and send every PNR on WhatsApp. Darshan is booked through TTD; we fit the trains around it.
Which Hyderabad station should a big group board at?+
The one where the train starts. A train's biggest share of seats sits at its starting station; at a stop along the way the share is smaller. The Bengaluru Rajdhanis only pass through Secunderabad, for example, so a big group to Bengaluru does better on a train that starts in the city.
