Central Railway, and the hub almost every long-distance train stops at. The Duronto to Mumbai and the Vande Bharats to Secunderabad, Indore and Bilaspur start here; the Rajdhanis to Delhi only pass through.
Ajni (AJNI)
A satellite terminal a few kilometres from Nagpur Junction. The Vande Bharat to Pune and several other Pune trains start here, not at Nagpur Junction — check your ticket.
NSC Bose Itwari (NITR)
South East Central Railway. Renamed from Itwari in 2023 with a new station code, so search by the new name. Some trains towards Chhattisgarh start here, including an intercity with First AC.
Kamptee (KP)
On the Gondia line, where some long-distance trains stop. No premium train starts here.

Your ticket names it. Most trains, including the Mumbai Duronto and the Rajdhanis, use Nagpur Junction. The Vande Bharat to Pune starts at Ajni. Itwari was renamed NSC Bose Itwari in 2023 and has a new code, so search by the new name.
Can I get First AC from Nagpur?+
Yes. Every Rajdhani and Duronto through Nagpur carries First AC, as do the Mumbai Duronto and the weekly AC Express via New Delhi, which start here, and long-distance expresses such as the Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Grand Trunk. The Vande Bharats have Executive Chair Car instead.
