IRCTC authorised agent: a real person books your train ticket
Tried IRCTC or a travel app and ended up on a waiting list, losing the Tatkal window or holding a voucher instead of a seat? Hand the booking to an authorised agent. We are authorised by IRCTC and licensed by Indian Railways, and a real agent picks the train, quota, class and boarding point most likely to confirm, then books it for you on WhatsApp and call.

Rail Yatri Suvidha Kendra is an independent travel agency authorised by IRCTC. It is not IRCTC or Indian Railways.
Where people get stuck — and what we do instead
Most people come to us after trying it themselves. These are the moments that bring them.
The app shows a waiting list
We read which list it is — general, pooled or remote-location — and whether it can clear on your date. If it can't, we book the train, quota, class or boarding point that will, instead of leaving you to hope.
Which waiting list confirms →Tatkal sold out before you paid
Our desk books Tatkal every day for both windows — 10:00 AM for AC, 11:00 AM for Sleeper, one day before the journey. Send the journey the evening before and it is staged before the window opens.
Tatkal booking →A guarantee, not a seat
Some apps sell a plan that pays out if your ticket doesn't confirm, but you still don't travel, and RAC usually doesn't count as a failure. Our promise is the other way round: only a confirmed berth counts.
One such plan, explained →A Rajdhani, Vande Bharat or First AC coupé
Premium trains sell out first and behave differently: no Tatkal in First AC, no RAC in a chair car. We know which lever works on each.
Tatkal on premium trains →Booking for parents or a group
Names, ages, lower berths for seniors, families kept together across several bookings. You send the details once; the e-tickets come to you on WhatsApp.
Group booking →No IRCTC account, or no time
You don't need an account, an app or a login. Send the passengers and the journey, approve the plan and pay; we do the rest.
What an IRCTC authorised agent is — and isn't
IRCTC runs Indian Railways' online ticketing. An IRCTC authorised agent is a travel agency IRCTC allows to book e-tickets on behalf of customers. Every ticket comes from the same Indian Railways reservation system, as a genuine IRCTC e-ticket in the passenger's own name, with a PNR you can check yourself on IRCTC or the NTES app.
An agent can't create seats or change railway rules, and anyone who promises that is not worth paying. What a good agent changes is the choice: which train, quota, class, boarding point and date to book so that the ticket confirms, and an honest no when a date won't.
We hold two credentials: IRCTC authorisation, and a Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra (YTSK) licence awarded by Indian Railways itself — a different and harder licence to get. Licence details are shared on request with the person booking.
About our Indian Railways YTSK licence →Booking yourself, or through an authorised agent
Who chooses the train
Yourself: You, usually from what the screen shows first
Agent: An agent who reads every train, quota, class and boarding point on the route
Tatkal morning
Yourself: You race the window on your own connection and payment
Agent: The desk handles it; you get the result on WhatsApp
If it waitlists
Yourself: You judge the odds yourself
Agent: A straight answer, and the next option lined up before the chart
If it doesn't confirm
Yourself: The railway refund for the unconfirmed ticket
Agent: Confirmed berth, or a 100% refund of what you paid us — RAC doesn't count
Only a confirmed berth counts. RAC doesn't.
App guarantees treat RAC as a success: you share a berth overnight and they pay nothing. We don't. If we can't deliver a confirmed (CNF) berth, you get a 100% refund, no questions asked — usually the same day, and always within 48 hours of asking — or the alternative that suits you better.
The best train booking agent in India — and how to check that for yourself
Only a confirmed berth counts
RAC and a waitlist are refunded in full, no questions asked — usually the same day, and always within 48 hours of asking.
Every passenger counts
In a group, anyone who isn't confirmed is refunded, even if the others travel.
The work happens before you pay
Train, quota, boarding point, class and date are chosen to confirm, and you get an honest no when the odds are poor.
Licensed and on the record

How to tell a genuine train ticket agent
Six things worth checking about any agent in India. Here is where we stand on each.
Licensed by Indian Railways
A Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra (YTSK) licence from Indian Railways and authorised IRCTC agent status. Licence details are shared on request with the person booking, not published on the open web.
A registered office since 2014
Palmohan Plaza, A1, Desh Bandhu Gupta Rd, Karol Bagh, New Delhi 110005. It's a registered address, not a service counter: every booking is handled on WhatsApp and call.
The ticket is in your name
A genuine IRCTC e-ticket in the passenger's own name, with a PNR you can check yourself on IRCTC or the NTES app, sent to you on WhatsApp.
Traceable payment, never cash
The full amount, railway fare plus our service charge, is agreed in writing before anything is booked, and paid through traceable channels.
A GST invoice on request
Ask for an invoice and you get one, with our GST details, for any booking.
Google reviews you can read
5★ from 500+ Google reviews on our Business Profile, and a refund rule in writing: confirmed berth or 100% back.
What our customers say
“Waitlisted ticket got confirmed two days before travel. They actually followed up — rare these days.”
“Helpful agents, explained my PNR honestly instead of overpromising. Will use again.”
Questions about booking through an IRCTC agent
Are you IRCTC?+
No. IRCTC runs Indian Railways' online ticketing. Rail Yatri Suvidha Kendra is an independent travel agency authorised by IRCTC to book e-tickets for customers, and licensed by Indian Railways as a Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra.
Is it safe to book through an IRCTC authorised agent?+
With an authorised one, yes. You get a genuine IRCTC e-ticket in the passenger's name with a PNR you can check yourself on IRCTC or NTES, the full amount is agreed before you pay, payment is traceable, and a GST invoice is available on request.
Can an agent get a confirmed ticket when IRCTC shows a waiting list?+
No agent can create a seat. What we change is the choice — the train, quota, class, boarding point and date most likely to confirm — and we tell you honestly when a date won't. If we can't deliver a confirmed berth, you get a 100% refund; RAC doesn't count.
Can an IRCTC authorised agent book Tatkal?+
Yes. Our desk books Tatkal every day, for both windows: 10:00 AM for AC classes and 11:00 AM for Sleeper, one day before the journey date. Send the journey the evening before.
Do I need my own IRCTC account?+
No. Send each passenger's name, age and gender and the journey on WhatsApp; the e-ticket comes to you there. Passengers carry their original ID on the journey.
How much does an IRCTC agent charge?+
The railway fare plus a service charge that depends on the booking. We tell you the full amount before you pay, and nothing is booked until you approve it.
How do I check that an agent is really authorised?+
Ask for the licence details before you pay — we share ours with the person booking. Check the PNR yourself once the ticket arrives, look for a registered office and a GST invoice, and read the agent's Google reviews.
Do you have an office near me?+
Our registered office is in Karol Bagh, New Delhi, and every booking is handled on WhatsApp and call — for Delhi NCR, the rest of India and NRIs booking from abroad. Nothing needs a visit.
