Tatkal ticket booking in Indore
Indore is a rare city where almost every train people need starts at home. Every Delhi train, every Mumbai train, the Vande Bharat to Nagpur and most trains to Patna and Varanasi start at Indore Junction or at Dr Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow) — so an Indore Tatkal is nearly always on the main share.

5★ · 500+ reviews · Confirmed berth or 100% refund — RAC doesn't count

Two starting stations means two sets of trains, each with its own Tatkal quota. To Delhi: the daily Intercity from Indore Junction, and the Malwa Express to Katra and a daily superfast to New Delhi from Mhow, both of which call at Indore Junction. To Nagpur: the Vande Bharat from Indore Junction and the Trishatabdi from Mhow. Ujjain is the opposite case — none of the Delhi, Mumbai or Patna trains starts there.
Where to board for Tatkal
Indore Junction for Mumbai (the Avantika and the Duronto), Delhi, Nagpur, Patna, Varanasi and Howrah. Dr Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow) for the Malwa Express, the New Delhi superfast, the Trishatabdi and the train to Kamakhya — all of which also stop at Indore Junction. Laxmibai Nagar starts only the trains to Rishikesh.
There's no need to go anywhere. Send the journey on WhatsApp the evening before and it is staged before the window opens.
Only a confirmed berth counts. RAC doesn't.
App guarantees treat RAC as a success: you share a berth overnight and they pay nothing. We don't. If we can't deliver a confirmed (CNF) berth, you get a 100% refund, no questions asked — usually the same day, and always within 48 hours of asking — or the alternative that suits you better.
Who books Tatkal from Indore

A desk built for a window measured in seconds
Staged before the window
Passenger details, route, class and quota are prepared in advance so nothing is being typed when the clock turns.
At the terminal, daily
Both windows, every day — not on request, and not as a favour. It is what the desk is set up to do.
More than one line of attack
Where a route has several viable trains, we work them in parallel rather than betting everything on the obvious one.
Premium Tatkal considered
Premium Tatkal carries dynamic pricing and often has availability when ordinary Tatkal has gone. We will tell you when the difference is worth paying and when it is not.
An honest read first
If your route and date have a poor chance even through Tatkal, we say so before you commit rather than after.
Confirmed, or refunded
If we cannot get you a confirmed berth, you receive a 100% refund.
What our customers say
“Messaged at 9:50 AM for a same-day AC Tatkal. They were ready at 10 sharp and I had a confirmed berth within minutes. A real person beats refreshing the app yourself.”
“Booked Tatkal for our whole family in one go on WhatsApp. Super smooth, kept us updated.”
Tatkal, answered straight
What time does Tatkal booking open?+
Tatkal opens one day before the journey date — generally 10:00 AM for AC classes and 11:00 AM for Sleeper and second seating. Note that it is one day before the date of travel, not the date of booking, which is where people most often miscount and miss the window entirely.
Can you book Tatkal for me?+
Yes — it is a large part of what the desk does daily. Send us the journey the day before travel, ideally the evening before so everything is staged before the window opens. We are at the terminal for both windows every day.
Why does my Tatkal attempt always fail?+
Almost always for one of three reasons: the quota is exhausted within seconds on contested trains, passenger details are being typed rather than pre-staged, or the payment takes longer than the seat hold. None of those is about luck, and all three are what an agent removes.
What is Premium Tatkal?+
A separate quota with dynamic pricing — the fare rises as it fills, so it costs more than ordinary Tatkal but frequently has availability when ordinary Tatkal has gone. On an unmissable journey it is often the right trade, and we will tell you honestly when it is not worth the difference.
Can I get a refund on a confirmed Tatkal ticket?+
Generally no — confirmed Tatkal tickets are not refundable on cancellation, other than in specific circumstances such as the train being cancelled or running very late. That is a Railways rule rather than ours, and it is worth knowing before you book, which is why we say it here rather than after you have paid. Our own promise is separate: if we cannot get you confirmed at all, you get your money back in full.
