Worth checking before you buy a flight. A day train or a night train, both can work.
10 to 13 hours
Works if there is an overnight train: leave in the evening, arrive in the morning, and skip a hotel night. Best for groups of four or more.
More than 13 hours
A flight probably suits you better. If a flight isn't an option for you, we can still help.

A week or more
Most choice. We check the general quota, other trains, nearby stations and nearby dates, then send you the plan most likely to confirm.
Three to six days
Still good. There are fewer options, so we look wider: other trains, other classes and other boarding stations.
One or two days
Tatkal opens the day before travel: 10:00 AM for AC classes, 11:00 AM for the rest. We book it for you.

Is the train really a good swap for a flight?+
On trips up to about 10 hours, often yes. You give up some hours and save money, and an overnight train can save you a hotel night. If you must arrive by a fixed hour, a flight may suit you better, and we will say so.
What if the train doesn't confirm?+
App guarantees treat RAC as a success: you share a berth overnight and they pay nothing. We don't. If we can't deliver a confirmed (CNF) berth, you get a 100% refund, no questions asked — usually the same day, and always within 48 hours of asking — or the alternative that suits you better.
What if only some of us confirm?+
Each passenger is covered by the same promise: a passenger whose booking is not confirmed gets a 100% refund. Tell us at the start if the group must travel together, and we plan the train and date with that in mind.
Can I just book on IRCTC myself?+
Yes. What we add is the analysis of which train, class and quota to try, and a person doing the booking when the Tatkal window opens. You pay only after you approve the plan.
How late is too late?+

What does it cost?+
The Railways fare per passenger, the same fare shown on IRCTC, plus our per-passenger service fee. We tell you the total on WhatsApp before you pay anything.
Do I need an IRCTC account?+
