Train tickets for jawans posted in Ladakh: the train leg, planned properly

Ladakh has no railway line, so every journey home has a road or air leg first, and then a train. We book the train leg from the railhead you will use, such as Jammu Tawi, Pathankot or Chandigarh, to your home state. You arrange the Ladakh leg; we plan the train around your arrival. RYSK is an independent, licensed train ticket booking desk. We are not the official force portal, and we do not claim any railway quota.

The problem

Travelling from Ladakh

The train starts far away

Your journey home begins with a long road or air leg. If it is late, a train booked on tight timing is lost. We plan with a buffer.

Weather and road changes

Roads and flights from Ladakh can change at short notice. Tell us how flexible you are, and we suggest trains with room to move.

A short leave is shorter still

When days are lost getting out, the train home must be a sure thing. A confirmed berth matters even more.

Fake tickets at the station

Travellers in a hurry are targeted. Check any PNR on 139 before you pay.

Only a confirmed berth counts. RAC doesn't.

App guarantees treat RAC as a success: you share a berth overnight and they pay nothing. We don't. If we can't deliver a confirmed (CNF) berth, you get a 100% refund, no questions asked — usually the same day, and always within 48 hours of asking — or the alternative that suits you better.

Why it pays

What you get

Confirmed berth, or full refund

Only a confirmed berth counts. If we cannot confirm, you get a full refund of what you paid us for that seat.

FAQ

Questions personnel ask

Is there a train to Ladakh?+

No. There is no railway line in Ladakh. We book the train leg that begins at a railhead outside it, and you arrange the road or air leg.

Which railheads do you use for Ladakh postings?+

Commonly Jammu Tawi, Pathankot and Chandigarh, depending on how you travel out. Tell us your plan and we book the best train from there.

How do I know a train ticket is real and not a fake PNR?+

Check the PNR on the Indian Railways enquiry (call 139) or on the IRCTC website before you pay or travel. Never pay a stranger at a station, and be careful with anyone who asks for much more than the ticket costs. If you are unsure, send us the PNR on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it shows.
