Diwali & Chhath 2026Waitlisted or no berths? What still works
Waiting list? A second option

Ticket not confirming on the official portal? Here is what you can do

Official routes work for many journeys, and when a berth is available you may not need us. When it stays on the waiting list and your leave date is close, you need a second option quickly. Send us your route, date and PNR, and we tell you honestly what is possible. RYSK is an independent, licensed train ticket booking desk. We are not the official force portal, and we do not claim any railway quota.

The problem

When a ticket stays on the waiting list

A waiting-list number is not a promise

A low number on a busy train often moves, and a high number on a peak day often does not. We tell you how the movement usually goes on your train, and when not to hope.

A waiting ticket cannot travel

A passenger who is still waiting-listed at chart time cannot travel in a reserved coach. Do not wait until the last hour to decide on a second option.

Other trains and dates

The same journey is often possible on another train, from a nearby station, or a day earlier. We look across all of them in one go.

Keep your first booking until you are sure

Do not cancel your existing ticket until we confirm a better one. Cancellation rules apply, so we check before you decide.

Only a confirmed berth counts. RAC doesn't.

App guarantees treat RAC as a success: you share a berth overnight and they pay nothing. We don't. If we can't deliver a confirmed (CNF) berth, you get a 100% refund, no questions asked — usually the same day, and always within 48 hours of asking — or the alternative that suits you better.

Why it pays

What you get

Confirmed berth, or full refund

Only a confirmed berth counts. If we cannot confirm, you get a full refund of what you paid us for that seat.

FAQ

Questions personnel ask

My ticket is on the waiting list. Can you help?+

Send us your route, date, class and PNR on WhatsApp. We check other trains, nearby stations and dates, and tell you what can be confirmed. We only count a confirmed berth, and if we cannot confirm you get a full refund of what you paid us for that seat.

Should I cancel my waiting-list ticket?+

Not before you have a confirmed alternative. Once you do, the railway's cancellation rules apply to the old ticket. Ask us before you decide.

Is this a replacement for the official portal?+

No. We are an independent booking desk and a second option. We do not claim any railway quota or any link to your force.

How do I know a train ticket is real and not a fake PNR?+

Check the PNR on the Indian Railways enquiry (call 139) or on the IRCTC website before you pay or travel. Never pay a stranger at a station, and be careful with anyone who asks for much more than the ticket costs. If you are unsure, send us the PNR on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it shows.
