For National Disaster Response Force personnel and families

NDRF train ticket booking: reach home before your leave runs out

Leave is short, and a ticket that does not confirm can cost you days of it. Send your station, destination and date on WhatsApp. We book a confirmed berth in your own name, tell you early if a plan B is needed, and offer a special rate to serving NDRF personnel on proof of service. RYSK is an independent, licensed train ticket booking desk. We are not the official force portal, and we do not claim any railway quota.

The problem

What NDRF personnel tell us about leave travel

Leave days are fixed

Once leave is sanctioned, every day on the platform is a day lost with family. A confirmed berth on the right date matters more than the cheapest option.

Waiting list on the day

A waiting-list ticket that does not confirm leaves you stranded. We plan the journey across trains and dates and only count a confirmed berth.

Touts at the station

Fake PNRs and tickets sold at many times the real price are a known problem for travellers who are in a hurry. Always check a PNR before you pay.

Postings far from home

NDRF battalions are stationed across India and move at short notice to wherever disaster strikes. Long journeys with changes need planning, not luck.

Only a confirmed berth counts. RAC doesn't.

App guarantees treat RAC as a success: you share a berth overnight and they pay nothing. We don't. If we can't deliver a confirmed (CNF) berth, you get a 100% refund, no questions asked — usually the same day, and always within 48 hours of asking — or the alternative that suits you better.

FAQ

Questions NDRF personnel ask

Can NDRF personnel book train tickets through you?+

Yes. Send your journey on WhatsApp in English or Hindi. We book through our authorised agent channel, in the traveller's own name. RYSK is an independent, licensed train ticket booking desk. We are not the official force portal, and we do not claim any railway quota.

Is there a special rate for NDRF personnel?+

Yes, for serving personnel only, on proof of service such as a valid service ID card or leave certificate. It does not apply to family, friends or other customers. Ask on WhatsApp for the current rate.

My leave is only a few days. Can you book on short notice?+

Yes. Tatkal is available the day before travel. For AC Tatkal, message us before 9:30 am; for Sleeper, before 10:30 am. We can sometimes take later requests, but it is rushed and not guaranteed.

What if my ticket stays on the waiting list?+

We only count a confirmed berth. If we cannot confirm, you get a full refund of what you paid us for that seat, and we tell you early so you can change plans.

When are refunds paid?+

Refunds are processed between 4 pm and 7 pm in the evening, never before 4 pm.

I can book on IRCTC's Meri Yatra portal. Why use you?+

For normal bookings with seats available, the portal works well and you may not need us. NDRF personnel message us for Tatkal on short notice, a waiting-list ticket close to their leave, a fixed date that must work, family members' tickets, or a group from one unit. We only count a confirmed berth.

How do I know a train ticket is real and not a fake PNR?+

Check the PNR on the Indian Railways enquiry (call 139) or on the IRCTC website before you pay or travel. Never pay a stranger at a station, and be careful with anyone who asks for much more than the ticket costs. If you are unsure, send us the PNR on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it shows.

Which routes do you cover for NDRF postings?+

Every route in India. NDRF battalions are stationed across India and move at short notice to wherever disaster strikes. We book the whole network by WhatsApp and phone.
