Why the opening morning matters for a group
When booking for a date opens, every berth on every train is available at once. That is when a group has its widest choice of trains, classes and boarding points. As the day goes on seats go, and a group that needs 30 or 40 berths together is the first to feel it.
So the plan is simple: tell us your route, date and group size now, we confirm the exact opening morning, and we book for every passenger that morning. Opening morning gives the best chance of confirmed berths. It is not a promise, which is why the confirmed berth or 100% refund line below applies to every booking.

Dates full this month? Your January date is the next option
If the date you wanted is already full or waitlisted, you do not have to give up the trip. A date that has not opened yet is a fresh start, and it is the cleanest option for a group that can move its dates. Tell us how flexible you are and we plan around it.

When does booking open for travel on 10 January?+
Booking opens 60 days before the travel date, at 8:00 AM, so travel on 10 January 2027 opens on Wednesday 11 November 2026. Each later date opens one morning after the one before: 15 January opens on 16 November, 26 January on 27 November, 1 February on 3 December.
Can you book for a group before the date opens?+
No booking is possible before a date opens, for anyone. What we do is plan with you now, confirm the exact opening morning, and book for every passenger that morning.
Is booking on opening morning a guarantee of confirmed tickets?+
No. Opening morning gives the best chance, because every berth is available at once, but no agent can create a seat. What we promise is the result: a confirmed berth, or a 100% refund. RAC does not count as confirmed.
How many passengers can you book in one go?+
Indian Railways puts at most six passengers on one booking, so a group of 40 is at least seven bookings. We make all of them together the morning your date opens and send each PNR on WhatsApp.
What if my group's dates can move?+
Tell us. A group that can shift by a day or two has far more options than one that cannot, and we plan the opening mornings around your flexibility.
Do you need our IRCTC accounts?+
No. Send each passenger's name, age and gender and the journey. The e-tickets come to you on WhatsApp, and passengers carry their original ID on the journey.
