Who travels Bengaluru to Kochi, and when
Friday nights out of Bengaluru and Sunday nights back, every week. The big peaks are Onam in August or September, Christmas and New Year, and Vishu in April — when trains fill the day the window opens.
Kerala trains leave from KSR City, SMVT and Banaswadi, and each carries its own quota — a waitlist at one says nothing about another. Kochi has two Ernakulam stations, Junction and Town, and many trains stop at both, which changes little about the ticket but a lot about the cab at the other end.
